Christian Wilkins Laughing Directly In The Eagles' Faces After That Trick Play Is All The Evidence You Need That The Whole Team Deserves To Be Fired

Folks. These were the, up until yesterday, 2-9 Miami Dolphins Men's Professional-ish Football Team. One of the biggest jokes in the NFL. A team which actually got worse yesterday because that win pretty much ruined their shot at drafting their next franchise quarterback. And THAT is the team that is pointing and laughing directly in the face of the Philadelphia Eagles? Are you kidding me? That would be like hopping in a time machine back to 1997 and having Robert Downey Jr. making fun of you for being a drug addict. When you become a joke to one of the biggest jokes out there, that's when you know that things have gotten past the point of being fixable.

Now I'm not a full blown idiot. I understand that you can't just clean house 100% here and start from scratch. But I won't feel any shred of confidence in this team until at least 3/4 of these bums are gone. That goes from the players to the coaching staff to the GM. What this team has done since winning Super Bowl LII is nothing short of deplorable. They have taken advantage of this city. They went out there 2 Februaries ago on the steps of the Art Museum and Doug Pederson announced to Philly that this was our "new norm". What has that sack of shit done since? Coach a team to a 15-15 record since that Super Bowl and went down to Miami so grossly underprepared that they lost to a team which has been actively trying to lose for most of the season.

Christian Wilkins. A rookie. Just out here laughing at each and every single member of the Philadelphia Eagles' defense because those assholes couldn't stop a Ryan Fitzpatrick led offense to put up over 400 yards of offense and 37 points on them, including a trick play where a goddamn punter threw a touchdown pass to a goddamn place kicker.

But I guess that's just what the Eagles have become. This is our new norm, Doug. This is what you've done. This is the culture that you've created in that locker room. You put out a team that shits their pants week after week. A team that is underprepared, a team that underperforms, and a team that obviously just doesn't care. The Cowboys have been doing everything possible to hand the Eagles that playoff spot in the NFC East and this is what this team does with that opportunity? Fire everybody directly into the sun. One-way ticket.

Sidenote: At least Eagles fans are handling this pretty well, all things considered. I mean the city isn't burned to the ground right now, but a few jerseys are.

Love that little scooter in the background by the fire. Tells me that this man has at least a child of his own. Totally normal and well-adjusted behavior for an adult father.

And oh yeah, the Eagles are absolute cowards for not honoring this petition.
